transform teaching

about

Teachers often do not have the tools to provide enriching learning experiences. A lack of training and a shortage of resources lead to classes where students are not engaged, and learning loss is one of its tragic consequences.

Transform Teaching is a development programme that strengthens leadership and management capacities to improve standards at schools for teachers and school governors. An online version of the course also exists.

It is a two-year programme that improves the strategic, academic and administrative areas of a school. The programme is run in line with the directives of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), a government programme to improve teaching in secondary schools. It includes training, classroom based support and interactive teaching resources. It also develops a peer network of teachers to encourage learning between them.

The programme tracks the teaching journey of the beneficiaries with the performance of the school, and also tracks the confidence of the teachers in their own abilities after completion of the course.
